It's that time of the month again! If your mind didn't automatically think of the Darkmoon Faire then you obviously haven't been hanging around us long enough.
Come join me in taking down that pompous top-hat Jeremy Feasel on the faire grounds. As Horde you can take the portal located just outside Thunderbluff. But if you're Alliance you can just [EXPLETIVE REMOVED]. JUST KIDDING! I'm pretty sure the portal for Alliance is located in good old Goldshire, just outside of Stormwind.

It's already been a whole day since Guild Wars 2 shoveled the snow, packed up the tree, and took down the lights (things I haven't done). Lion's Arch just isn't as exciting without all those jerks pelting me with snowballs every time I run through. So to fill the void I bring you the third installment of "How to World Vs. World, A Silent Film". Because it's exciting.
OK FINE- Mostly because I finished it a couple days ago and I hate having things just sitting around... which is exactly why the chocolate is gone as well.
So take advantage of my impatience and clear 14 minutes and 7 seconds of your schedule starting.... now!
The long awaited continuation of "How to World Vs. World: A Silent Film" is finally here! I know you've been patiently waiting so to positively reinforce your good behavior I made it twice as long as the first one, yay!
YES, I said POSITIVELY REINFORCE. Geesh, so ungrateful.
And maybe if you click the link below you'll find that I've also made cookies and hot coco for you!
Bheez and I have had some epic adventures in the past. This may (or may not be) one of them. The only way to find out is to see for yourself. And seeing as how you're here in first place, you probably have nothing better to do, so enjoy!
How to World Vs. World (A Silent Film) - part one presented by Team Vashj, aka the Cuddwy Kwoo [Ck] - after the break! YEAH YOU HAVE TO CLICK THE LINK. Gawd, kids these days... so lazy.
It has been nearly four days since Guild Wars 2 has launched and I'm having such a great time exploring the world of Tyria that I put together some clips of my Vista Exploti-eer, Vista Viewing Adventures.
While in Lion's Arch one day, going about my business of attempting to 100% the map, I happened upon a super secret cave opening...One thing led to another and I soon found myself knee-deep in pirate's booty with Shirley hot on my tail.
Watch the video to see what we were up to!
Check out my channel for more videos of this nature and other unnecessary nonsense.
My first impressions of the Guild Wars 2 launch have been really good. They brought the servers up three hours prior to the "official" preplay scheduled time and I had no problem picking my server or creating my character! Already winning in my book. Even the lag was pretty minimal given the amount of bodies populating the zones (dead or otherwise). One of the smoothest launches I've participated in, eva!
Now, that isn't to say there haven't been hiccups, but what launch would be complete without them?
CLICK THE LINK FOR THE CURE TO HICCUPS! Ok, not really, it's just more text and a video... but still, click the link!
If you've been living under a rock for the past week, then perhaps you haven't heard...
ArenaNet has announced the possibility of bringing up their game servers 3 hours in advance of their highly anticipated midnight launch! This news sprang from the realization that they will most likely need to do this to cope with the inevitable login-attempt-meltdown they will face when the clock strikes 12. Our countdown timer is sync'd to the early-preplay login attempt spam time, because we care!
So you've got a few hours left to get your shit in order. Get to the grocery store, stock up on edible provisions and caffeine, take care of your social obligations, brainstorm on all the character names you want to reserve, oh, and don't forget to make your bed (lookin' at you sheetless-bed sleepers.../cringe).
Yeah, I got to witness it in realtime, I got logged out twice and each time I logged back in, more and more of my items were missing. In my desperate attempt to change my password before it was finished, I completed the reset and logged back in, but alas...all was gone. So I requested a rollback etc etc...
This was the email I recieved after two days:
Greetings,
Thank you for contacting Blizzard Customer Support regarding your Diablo III account.
Each Diablo III account is limited to two rollbacks. We cannot guarantee the availability of future rollbacks beyond these two. Because of this, we require your approval to use a rollback to address this situation. If you would like us to proceed, please respond to this ticket and clearly state that you wish to use one of your two rollbacks. If you do not respond, no restoration will be made for this issue.
***Please do not play on the account in any region after requesting a rollback, as any progress gained before the account is rolled back will be permanently lost.***
To address a compromise, we will use a periodically updated rollback point to roll your account back to a prior state. Though rollback points are regularly updated, they may not be current when a compromise occurs. Progress (such as levels, achievements, and items) gained after the rollback point was saved but before the compromise occurred may be permanently lost when we roll back your account. Customer Support cannot adjust rollbacks in any way, nor can we assist with progress lost as a result of the rollback.
Any items you have gained since the above rollback point will be lost. For additional information on how compromise rollbacks are handled for Diablo III accounts, see our article on Compromised Diablo III Accounts:http://www.battle.net/support/article/compromised-diablo-iii-account.
Note: After the first compromise rollback occurs on a Battle.net account, that account's access to the Diablo III Real Money Auction House will be restricted until an authenticator is attached. If you elect to refrain from adding an authenticator, and the account is compromised a second time, access to the Diablo III Real Money Auction House will be revoked.
Account security is critically important. To help protect your account, see the Compromised Diablo III Account support article linked above for account and computer security instructions and tips.
If you have further questions, please reply to this ticket. If you prefer to speak to a representative over the phone, our contact information can be found here: http://www.battle.net/support/article/contact.
Thank you again for contacting us. We hope you continue to enjoy your experience in Diablo III!
Best wishes,

Ok, its not like i planned on playing any more blizzard games, seeing as I will be moving to Guild Wars2 when it comes out, but this was still my main means of passing time. I wonder if any other people are having security problems
note how authenticators are not 100% guaranteed to protect you. Even though you pay extra money for them(some people might argue its a small amount to be fair)
But still there is something about this that reminds me of mafia extorition. Something along the lines of, "Pay our organization protection money, or something may "happen" to your store mr. fish monger."
And no blizzard, I didn't want to shell out on an authenticator before, and I still don't want to
I've been getting questions about how to set-up the free security key in-game. It's super easy and not only does it provide you with your very own account bouncer (PST Vampd for details) it gives you access to a vendor with some nice vanity items! The one catch is that you need to have a smartphone, so either an iPhone or one that supports browsing/downloading off the Android Market.
If you don't have this it doesn't mean you're going to be completely left out, it just means you'll have to fork over more IRL dolla-dollabills to purchase the physical key. I assume the setup is similar, however, I'm not going to cover that today since I'm all about the freebies!

I'm going to share my secret to success* with some Sentinel tricks-of-the-trade. Here's a completely situational, ill-thought-out, and pretty much useless (I'm not projecting) trick: How to obtain 30 stacks of Centering before each fight (leaving you to save Valorous Call). OBVIOUS NERF-BAT INCOMING. 1. Find environmental damage. In this case, a huge BBQ pit of books Glynnia threw away because she can't read.
2. DDIAF. Throw Rebuke up to lessen the pain as your skin is melted from your bones. Watch as your Centering slowly, painstakingly reaches 30 stacks.
3. Stop, drop, and roll. You have exactly 60 seconds to execute this step before your Centering is lost. If this occurs see step 6.
4. Choose Centering ability of choice. In this case I'll use Transcendence as I'll want that 50% run speed buff to face-pull mobs back to Bravo Leader Bheezem who has been afk for 45 mins. Sure it'll wipe everyone, but don't forget Sentinels believe in corporal punishment. Also, don't worry about the repair cost you'll incur; I personally took the time to melt down C2-N2 for spare parts. $CHA-CHING$.
Well let's review your spending habits: Twi'lek hookers, portable helium canisters, SWtoR subscription, T-Pain mic...
Hmmmm. It looks like that T-Pain mic just pushed you over your budget, how irresponsible of you (especially since you didn't get me one, jerk). Well you're beyond my help... Kidding! You're just my type, too desperate to say no. But I digress.
You can be well on your way to becoming wealthy by following these three simple steps:
1. Cut a hole in a box
2. Put your junk in that box-- OH SORRY, wrong 3 step plan.
AHEM.
1. Watch this video on how to acquire a pink power crystal:
2. Sell said pink crystal on the trade market (easily done for upwards of 50k credits).
3. Swear your undying loyalty to me, The Dread Pirate of the Outter-Rim, Eternal Sovereign, Illustrious Master Slicer, Evil Overlord Glynnia, (LORD GLYNNIA for short). Upon which I will require you to abandon all earthly possessions to my care, effectively entering you into a Master/Slave relationship. Don't worry, you'll be quite comfortable in my cargo hold with my Liztard until I have need of you.
And if you've successfully followed my easy three step plan you should now be wealthy with the knowledge that you are one of the elite few to receive a backhand from yours truly.
xo Glynnia
[SRS FOOTNOTE: You can sell these crystals for a good amount of credits. They are unique, but they sell quickly. Most of the steps can be done solo and the final step to forming the crystal can be done easily in a 4 man group. I suggest you be level 48+ to complete this chain. So really, now you have no excuse to not have your final level of speeder bike training, slacker!]
So I sometimes catch myself away from the computer, you know those odd moments where you have to leave the house for essential life sustaining items (aka a McFlurry run). Or maybe waiting between class or heck even IN class, or at work... workin' hard. You get the idea. Sometimes I need to satisfy my gaming urges while I'm other places than in front of my comp and if you have a smartphone (liberally applied term- 1st gen Nexus boo) and you have access to the Anroid Marketplace then you're in luck.
A Knights Dawn is a medieval fantasy turret defense type game. It has a good story, unlockable perks and four difficultly levels, upgradeable units and the graphics are great! The best part is that it's free! And it's not one of those "free" games that if you want extra neat stuff you have to buy points with your real money- I mean it has the option but everything in the game is obtainable through the game play as well so that's a plus.
Some nice changes were made to the Tregg and Malgus fights for The False Emperor, the latter should definitely help groups lacking knockbacks.
The False Emperor
The Sith Entity's affliction ability now properly deals damage in Hard Mode.
HK-47 now has the correct amount of health in Normal Mode.
Tregg no longer immediately initiates his whirlwind attack after leaping to a player target. Players now have more time to react and avoid whirlwind damage.
Corrected an issue that caused Jindo Krey to randomly target players with his blaster attack. He now focuses those attacks on his primary target, making him "tankable" as intended.
Players can now acquire special Pulse Grenades outside of Darth Malgus' throne room. These grenades aid groups lacking knockback abilities in defeating him.
And then there was this...
Vanity pets can no longer be considered targets for any abilities.
Your Sand Crawler lives to see another day Sel....... >:|
Now for those of you who are already scraping the bottom of the barrel for graphics performance increasers or having been gaming for awhile, you probably already know that the lower quality graphics you set your settings to, the better off you are. This includes disabling things like bloom, conversation depth of field, etc, etc.
The weird and almost nonsensical fix that worked for me and other people in that thread was the following.
Open your graphics tab and set the graphics preset to high, now hit apply.
After your computer has a brief heart attack, set the preset to low, disable bloom and conversation depth of field, and then turn shadow quality to OFF.
Hit apply once more.
This should increase your game's fps and for me it made pvp and flashpoints smooth again, let us know if this works for you!
